Development status of safety valve

  The safety valve is a special branch of the valve family. Its particularity is that the safety valve is different from other valves and only serves as a switch, and more importantly, it protects the safety of the equipment. With the rapid development of China's economic construction, more and more equipment projects are under pressure control. In view of the need for pressure relief of equipment, safety valves play a vital role in protecting equipment. Safety valves are important safety accessories on boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure equipment. The safety valve (also known as the pressure relief valve) is automatically opened and closed according to the working pressure (working temperature) of the pressure system, and is generally installed on the equipment or pipeline of the closed system to protect the safety of the system.

  When the pressure or temperature in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, the pressure or temperature is automatically turned on to ensure that the pressure (temperature) of the medium in the equipment and pipeline is below the set pressure (temperature) to protect the normal operation of the equipment and pipeline. Prevent accidents and reduce losses. Safety valves are widely used in: steam boilers, liquefied stone sealed all-copper safety valves for oil and gas automobile tank cars or liquefied petroleum gas railway tank cars, oil wells, high-pressure bypass of steam power generation equipment, pressure pipes, pressure vessels, etc. Safety valves are generally divided into spring-type safety valves, lever-type safety valves, and pulse-type safety valves according to the structural form, of which spring-type safety valves are most commonly used; according to the connection method, they are divided into threaded safety valves and flanged safety valves. The diameter of the safety valve is generally not large. The commonly used ones are between DN15mm-DN80mm, and more than 150mm are generally called large-diameter safety valves.
